About This Saving Land

Katharine Hayhoe, chief scientist with The Nature Conservancy, routinely asks audiences how they feel about climate change and hears similar responses everywhere: anxious, frightened, overwhelmed, hopeless, horrified, frustrated, devastated, heartbroken. Engaging in dialogue about these feelings can help us process them and respond in more hopeful ways, growing our resolve to take meaningful action. Conversation about the emotional impacts of the climate crisis can happen in families, among friends and in workplaces.
