The Mother Lode Land Trust ("MLLT") works in the Central Sierra Nevada region of California - bridging the gap between Tahoe and Yosemite! MLLT owns and manages several preserves and works with willing landowners to hold conservation easements for the purpose of preserving the rural, gold rush, and ranching character of the Mother Lode. Historical and cultural resources, wildlife habitat, recreation, open space, watershed lands, and Agriculture, are our focus areas.
