The Central Savannah River Land Trust protects forests, farms, wetlands, rivers, and public greenspaces along the Savannah River in Georgia and South Carolina, while connecting the community to these landscapes through outdoor education, passive recreation, and scenic enjoyment opportunities. By permanently preserving these important natural treasures, we are protecting our quality of life today, and leaving our children a legacy that will last for generations. Since 2001, the CSRLT has preserved over 10,000 acres of land, including the Historic Augusta Canal, islands in the Savannah River, and the Greystone Preserve – a 262-acre protected forest and outdoor classroom in North Augusta, SC.
